It Aint What You Do, It's The Way That You Do It!

Now basically, all of us have an idea of how to drop weight, don't we?

Why do we find it very hard? Every single diet plan on the industry, in spite of how fantastic it is won't work without one significant ingredient, Commitment!

Sadly that is not something we can buy from the store, that I am afraid to say, is something that we need to give ourselves, and without it, every single diet that you attempt will certainly fail.

There are several good diet plans around and one diet that fits one individual will not strictly fit another. So you could find that you and your closest friend are planning to start a diet together, your friend may be going great guns and burning off pound after pound, however you, aren't. It's quite frustrating; however it's a fact of life that we are all made-up differently.

Personally I don't advise diets as such. Once you restrict your calories, the body would feel that there is a food shortage, and it will go deep into starvation mode. Once in hunger mode, it'll decelerate your metabolic process to conserve calorie consumption.

The thing is your body happen to be programmed from way back that when there is no supply of food, we had to look for our food so our food items weren't consistent. The metabolism adjusts the use of our calories making sure that in times of food scarcity; we would not waste away and go without food.

Now in this era, there's always food to hand; however our bodies are unaware of this. If you miss a meal the body will go on starvation alert and slow that metabolism all the way down, meaning the next time you eat, your body is likely to hang on to those calories and keep as much of them as it could as fat.

So, what's the remedy? There's been tons of research and in my opinion the way ahead is this: To maintain your metabolism ticking over at a consistent pace, you must eat regular meals, regular small meals each and every 2.5 - 3 hours, try and include proteins in these foods (meat, if possible lean meat i.e. chicken, turkey, tuna) since protein doesn't shoot your blood sugar right up and drop it back down as sugary foods would. Keep your daily calories to a guideline level, (take a look at your recommended consumption online somewhere).

The next part is something that you are not particularly going to desire, however, it's the only way forward, you ought to Workout!!

You'll need cardiovascular exercise 3-4 times a week for around forty minutes at a time, and also important, you should do weight lifting, as the more muscle tissue you have, the more fat you burn off. Ladies don't freak out, that does not mean that you have to look like Arnie, yet you'll need muscle tone, not to mention the more you have, the more body fat you will burn, even when you are sleeping!
