Media PA Events

On the 2nd Saturday of every month, over 30 businesses on and around State Street in Media stay open late as part of a free arts event. From 6:00 to 9:00 pm, shops, galleries and cafes host local musicians or display the work of local artists. Visitors can stroll the friendly streets of Media and use M.A.C. 2nd Saturday map to find music, art and participating shops.

2nd Saturday at the Center
In addition to the happenings in the business district there are openings and concerts held at our Art Center and Gallery (609-B West State Street) each 2nd Saturday. Openings are held from 4-6 pm and concerts begin at 7 pm. The public is welcome and concerts are BYOB. Check out the calendar for details about this month’s event!

2nd Saturday creates opportunities for local artists and musicians to share their talents. The Media Arts Council regularly holds gallery openings and special events as a part of 2nd Saturday.

2nd Saturday is a fantastic event for a date, for the family, or to go out with friends! The Arts Stroll is free of charge but requires the continued support of our sponsors, participating businesses, and gracious donors to make it happen. Please contribute today to the Media Arts Council.

Our 2nd Saturday Coordinator
The 2nd Saturday Committee and its coordinator connects the dots for each monthly event. We help businesses and artists find each other and then promote those new opportunities to drive traffic to Media businesses and artists. We do not manage the specific details of your 2nd Saturday offereings. M.A.C. produces the monthly map and issues press releases and advertising based on the information provided to us by participating businesses. We are a volunteer organization and do not make any profit from these free events. We rely on your involvement and sometimes cannot reach out to businesses individually to manage each month’s exhibit or music placement.
